Range Rules

These rules and regulations are established to enhance the safety and health of range users, range supervisors, and the surrounding community.

  • Keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction (at the intended impact area).
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to shoot.
  • Keep the action open and unloaded until ready to shoot.
  • Know your target and what is beyond.
  • Make sure your gun is safe to operate.
  • Wear eye and hearing protection.
  • No alcohol or drugs, before or during shooting activities.
  • All firearms and ammunition must be inspected by the range officer.
  • No armor piercing, steel core or tracer ammunition.
  • No ammunition faster than 3,300 feet per second.
  • Only one shooter at a time per lane.
  • No going forward of shooting bench.
  • Do not pick up brass forward of the shooting bench.
  • Absolutely No Rapid Fire.  You must count to two between each shot. If you fail to abide this rule, you will be asked to leave.
  • Make sure all entry and passage doors are closed when shooting.
  • Do not block or lean on white air wall.
  • Cleanup after yourself.
  • Have fun, be safe and come back again.
  • We highly recommend novice shooters (male or female) start their first shooting experience with a 22lr pistol.  It is a great way to get a feel for a firearm, then you can work your way up to a larger caliber.
  • All weapons must remain on the shooting bench.
  • There is no rapid fire allowed on the range. Allow two seconds between each shot.
